Creative Writing 
At Manitou Waters there are poetry and prose-writing workshops presented frequently across the year, enriched by readings and musical gatherings, which inspire every muse. Manitou Waters sponsors Manitou Beach’s famous “poetry posts” which are found all around the village.

Storytelling
The art of storytelling is immensely nourishing of the mind and spirit in our age of digital excess. Storytellers from around North America come to Manitou Waters to delight visitors who gather to absorb the words, the images and the magic in the little amphitheatre of the Fire Circle, on the lakeside deck at Down the Lane Cottage or beside the floor to ceiling fireplace in Skye House of the music corner in the main health and education centre.

Music 
Manitou Waters is the stomping ground of Louie and the Beachcats, Manitou Beach’s very own bistro band. Musicians from around the province and across Canada make Manitou a sure stopover. Evening music, coffee house style, is often a part of every program. Drum circles abound.
